Even pre-fire I can't imagine it was worth much more that a few hundred dollars, maybe up to $500. I've been looking at similar vintage Cub Cadets lately and they don't go for much more than that unrestored. Did you try posting to the garden tractor forum on this site? Someone there might know more about this brand.
