I agree with the others on the modern gas being the issue. Lots of people on this board have suffered from the old gas casing sticky valves regardless of brand of tractor.
I have been adding a touch of any of the following to my junker fleet when fueling: cheap 2 cycle oil, diesel fuel, or kerosene. (no preference really on any of the 3 choices just use whatever I have on hand is what I add a touch of).
