Cool, I went to Garmins web site and they say an 8GB is the biggest card my GPS will accept (has 2 GB now) but dont talk about SD versus SDHC???? but since San Disc and other brands are like $5 to $6.85 free shipping on Flea Bay I'm gonna just order one since the first wife has cameras that I know can use them anyway.
The thing is I keep adding more custom POI's to my Garmin so I just need more memory and they have an SD slot. I just downloaded 12,235 USA campgrounds that are the ones we use mostly (Senior Golden Access Pass), namely Natl Forest Service,,,,,,,,Bureau of Land Management BLM, Natl Parks,,,,,Army Corps of Engineers ACE,,,,,,,,,,,National Mounuemts,,,,,,,,County & City Parks,,,,,,,,Military Campgrounds. I'm just finishing up my Rooftop Solar Panels installation and those with my 460 Amp Hr Battery Bank (4 Golf Cart Batteries) and Onan Genset allows me to dry camp in the Utah and Colorado mountains almost indefinitely ........ But the Garmin with all those sites sure makes finding them easier wooooooo hoooooooo
