Interesting to see cropland/crops from another part of the country. Very flat land, but really pretty with the big fields and trees in the background.
Interesting that land lies fallow one year out of every four. That never happens here (except this year due to excessive rain). Here they plant every year and just add more fertilizer, lime or whatever is needed to grow a crop. I think some of that may be attributed to being in the farm program - where you want to keep your yields up (but not positive on that).
