She had the hip replacement surgery early this morning and is doing fine. She keeps telling me it's so nice to sleep without pain. For the past couple of months she was up every couple of hours at night, alternating between the bed and the couch trying to get comfortable. If all goes well she'll be home Wednesday. It's not that bad of a surgery anymore compared to what it was several years ago. This one should be good for 20 years or so. I'm sleeping on a hide-a-bed in the room with her. Very convenient since we're 125 miles from home. Jim
