I'd keep the blade. They are so handy on the farm I have 2, both old ones but they will move a tremendous amount of snow, dirt, trees, whatever you want. Ihave a heavy old Leon 7 foot on the 730 Case and I'm not scared of breaking anything on that combination. Made up a brush guard for the front of the tractor to protect the grille from branches.
The light duty Cancade 8 foot on my 2090 Case is way light for that size tractor but I have not crumpled it up yet.

And the 730 does a nice job smoothing dirt and gravel using the blade in reverse.
