Nothing puzzling about the Japanese Fords. They have been around for many years. I have a 1500 4WD that I bought new in 1980. They were built by Shibaura.Mine has beeen an excellent tractor but parts are hard to come by and very expensive. They made several sizes from about 10 thru 30 HP. I do not have the data to know what your tractor is.
