Try goldfish. This was in a thread on here about a year ago, a couple of folks said goldfish. We tried it in our galvanized cattle tanks, worked pretty well. Mother said after I mentioned it to her that my Grandpa had used them. Common goldfish are grass carp, can get big over several years. Will overwinter with tank heater. 3-4 dozen small ones for 8-foot diameter tank worked for us.
