it may be possible but dont do it, all large machinery needs a key to prevent unotherised operation, even just a cheap universal key switch from the parts store, just think all it takes is the kids or grand kids or the neighbor kid to get to playing on the tractor [ and what kid would not love to] and accidentally start the tractor and hurt himself or run over another kid, you cant undo that,even if he doesn't get hurt, but the tractor does its going to cost way more to fix it than the price of a new switch, not to mention the low life out there these days that swipe tractors to scrap them to support their drug habit, put a key switch on it
