The worst I have seen was a crack in a swather header were the owner had tried to weld it again and again till there was an whole pack of welding rods and trapped slag 3" thick clobberd over the crack.
I wore out two 7" grinding discs trying to clean up the mess.
Then to top it off when the owner(a neighbor) came to pick his now properly repaired swather the next day he had no money with him but said he was coming later to settle the bill,..that was 27 years ago, he still has to come to settle the bill. :roll:
