Some might call me a "hoarder" as I have about 50,000 rounds of .22LR ammo. But last week my father, brother, and a friend came over to visit and we went out to my sand pit and did some plinking and went through 1,500 rounds in just a few hours. We do that every few weeks so the supply gets knocked down rather quickly.
While .22lr is harder to come by, if you hunt around it is available for close to the same prices as before all the "gun ban" hype began.
