I still don't have to wear glasses except for reading and close work but I too was having trouble focusing on the rear sight, front sight and target at the same time. Putting a scope on my deer rifle put me back in the game. I still have a bit of trouble finding my way into the scope and couldn't make a snap shot like I used to with iron sights but heck, I usually missed those shots anyway.
