molly does the pto operate it sounds like the torque limiting clutch or the input shaft stripped out. the clutch will do that as it shears off the rivits and it would need the tractor to be split.is this a 3 or the older 4 cylinder one ? to move the tractor there is a lever on the left side that is bolted to the round inspection plate you have to unbolt it and rotate it to release the traction coupling.just be aware if you are on an incline the tractor will roll so be careful.
