I was so dissapointed with the whole process that I got rid of it right away, the prep. and cleanup and then dealing with the oil after was not worth the end results. We are back doing our turkeys in the oven the old tried and true way.But the cooker is great for lobsters and steamers.I know I didn't answer your question but the grease and residue from the turkey would be the scary part.
