My Son and I built this log splitter from a picture shown in Northern tool 10 years ago. had a ball building it from scratch and it can produced over 30 ton pressure. Will split logs laying flat(because they were cut a tad to long) with no problem. Now at my age I am the official valve operator lol. We do 20 cord a year. !0 for my daughter and another 10 for us. Had to fire it up this year because we ran out of wood, due to the late snow fall and cold snap. LOU
