That is where the fuel filter will be, but if you bump the tank, right square in the middle of it, sometimes you can get it to start. If it does start, drive it until its about out of gas, or until you find a "friend" that will drop the tank for you. I don't mind changing the pumps, but I have a 4 post hoist in my shop, a 100 gallon tank I can siphon the gas into, and a 12 volt pump to pump it back.
