What's your goal here? If you badly want something with an Elenco conversion... I guess you're going to pay what it takes to get it. If you just want a MFWD loader tractor, viewed in that context.... I don't see anything worth more than 500 bucks as described. If you want to compare it to something more modern like a 545D... there is no comparison... and the 545 could be had in the 10K range today with some hours on it. So you add your parts list plus your time to that 5500 and you're easily into a 545D.
I guess if you just want the Elenco... I think I'd start by pointing out that non runners go for 500 bucks and argue from there. You settle where you settle. Personally... pigs would fly before I'd pay 5500.
