We have a diesel pump rebuilder about 40 miles from us Eldorado Il. C.& D rebuilders. They will change the governor ring and check out everything else for 300 dollars. Less if you want less. There shoould be one near you also. Call them and ask if they will just do what you want. We have a 4040 JD and a 6060 AC and within the last few years both needed the gov ring replaced. Should put new vanes in the transfer pump in the end also. will help it start quicker. Vic
