I fully agree with pete black!!! The ONLY cruise I will ever even consider now are the ones going up the "Inside passageway" to Alaska, but I think we will just fly up and spend more time exploring.
I had always wanted to go on a cruise and almost 3 years ago I finally convinced the wife. We went on Carnival line out of Galveston and we had a 10 yr old son. They had plenty of well supervised activities for him.
I would have definetly reported it to the head waiter and requested a change in seating for meals. Every cruise line is very high on customer satisfaction, so all you would have to say is I am not satisfied with our meal time seating and it should have been handled discreetly.
