My wife had surgery on both wrists around 27 years ago. She still has flare ups. The finger stretching can help some, but she mainly puts on the wrist brace, takes an anti-inflammatory med, usually naproxen (Advil), and eases up a little. You might try: Using 2 fingers, tap several times on your wrist about the area you would feel a pulse. She says that helps a little. She waited too long for her surgery and she had some permanent damage.
I have Kienbock�s disease in my left wrist, but that's a different aliment. The early symptoms were similar to carpal tunnel.
