I have two simple rules.Never buy during shortages.Always keep a good stash of items you use.I keep a small note book where loading supplies and ammo,bar and chain oil.nails and hardware are tracked.The cellar has potatoes left, wood shed has wood left.My potatoes are planted with saved seed.Wont have to pay 50 to 90 cent a pound rip off store prices for seed.You cant buy flashlight batteries ,candles or plywood when a hurricane threatens.There always seems to be a run on snow shovels when a big storm is predicted.
