Not to change the subject TOO seriously, but one time we had a cat that got pretty badly beaten up in a fight with some kind of bigger animal. Pappy asked ol' Doc Windell, the local alcoholic vet, whether it was safe to use the purple medicine we used on the horses, on the cat.
Doc said, "I'd highly recommend you wear welding gloves...but you may want to think twice about using that purple stuff if you ever want to see that cat again. My guess is, you'll get started and he'll leave the county."
