I have a 14-foot, light duty gate--the kind made out of hat-shaped metal as compared to pipe. I have an H-shaped, braced end that I plan to X brace with high-tension wire and restrainers. The posts are set in concrete and the gate will only be used occasionally. Do I need to do anything else? I thought about guying the non-pivot-pin post back to a ground anchor, but don"t know if it is necessary. I can also support the free end of the gate on a block.
