The bike will far outdo the plane in that short of distance or to get to 150 mph. It simply accelerates so much faster. A man on foot can outrun a car in short distances. Once when I was in college we had a buddy that had a "corvair" car. He was mighty proud of that thing. We were sitting around listening to him brag about his corvair one afternoon when one of the guys said "I can outrun that thing on foot"! The race was on!
