According to my JD buyers guide there were some 40T-N tractors produced from the factory. The N signifying a narrow front. This book rates your tractor as a 4 star tractor as far as collectability is concerned. But this book is about 20 years old so I'd say the tractor is a 5 star tractor which is as high as the star rating goes. The first serial number in 1953 was 60001. The first serial number in 1954 was 72167 and the first serial number in 1955 was 75531. I hope you find this information helpful. rr
