Never had a problem, or really heard of anyone else having anything major go wrong with them. Funny story from this weekend that mad me think of the quality of these tractors. Took the 4530 to pick up some implements. my buddy (all 220+) pounds of him decided to ride along and hopped up on the fender. Rode all mile and a half through the field on that fender just comfortable as all heck. Try to sit on the tin of any of the other major manufacturers.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
