John T My laptop would sometimes change the settings for for no reason. Here's what worked on mine most of the time: go to wireless connections screen Look for "Change Adapter settings" right click and select properties...under network look for TCp/IPv4 click on it to highlight and the properties button should become active click on that and look to see that obtain IP address automatically and obtain DNS automatically are both checked. That worked several times for my laptop in several hotels across the country.
