I've done the 2x4 thing and it is definitly disengaging, just won't stop turning, so that leads me to the brake. I understand that this has been an inherant problem with this tractor. Also, it has the 8 speed tranny. My main issue is trhat I run a Farme logging winch on it a lot and when the 3 point is all the way up the drive shaft is constantly turning with the universals at a very abrupt angle. Just wondering if there is anything I can try short of splitting the tractor.I've also heard that it doesn't pay to fix it because the repair won't last. Any opinions would be appreciated.
