In all my years in the excavating/earthmoving business, I've never seen or heard of pulling a scraper blade behind a sheepsfoot and can't imagine what good it does. I'm not trying to be a smart azz, just don't see it doing anything but burning fuel. We always used a Cat 815 or 825 compactor with a blade on it. If we used a pull sheepsfoot there would be a dozer working the dirt as it was dumped.
