Agreed. No excuse for that type of behavior. I'm sure a few have laughed at me over the years. Its just that most guys I know worked for dad at pennies on the dollar for years and put a lot into the place before buying it for what seems like a bargain price. I worked on dads farm from the age of 8, milked cows from age of 11, for no real cash pay. I did manage to build up a small herd of cows and dragged some old equipment out of the hedgerows before buying my own place. I had my dad plow for me one year and he charged me for it. He wasn't being mean, just made me earn what I got.
