One thing to remember about honey is that the national chain stores have honey that is made in China (or other who-knows-where parts of the world) and a lot of it is processed. Processed honey has a lot of things done to it before it gets to your kitchen table. Plus, your local honey is made with local pollen and some people swear it helps with the treatment of allergies. (Don't know about that. I don't have hay fever) If you've got a local business that makes a good product at at competitive price, support them.
