Loosen the nut but leave in on a few turns to protect the threads and to protect your teeth when the wheel lets go.
Apply heavy upward load to two opposite spots on the outside edge of the steering wheel, you can use your knee caps, or a couple of pieces of 2x4 or use your imagination and what you have handy.
Use a brass drift and a hand sledge on the end of the shaft and don't be shy.
When the hub lets go remove the nut and the wheel.
