As I said yesterday, I got a break in the weather, black gumbo was manageable, and I did the cultivator thing in prep for a spring planting.
I've had this tractor in my 6th year now and I felt that it was a very efficient rascal, but today I got some numbers; not all because I didn't log hours run but some numbers.
I know it beats my Deeres, but.... I guessed 8-8.5 gallons for 6.5 acres using for a usage rate of 1.3 gallons per acre.
Starting from the top of the pics (if I can make this work):
1. I used this 2. With this engine 3. Pulling this in B1 @ 2600rpm (12 gears A-C, 1-4) 4. This deep 5. Using one of these 5 gal cans plus what you see missing in the pic 6. Filling the tank back up 7. Obtained from this in cultivating 6.5 acres as best I can measure.
