Before dropping the tank or cutting things, crawl under & take a look see. If it is the same platform as Merc Marquis it can be really easy. Did one on a 93 Merc a few years ago. On the Merc/Lincoln the pump assembly is on the forward face of the tank, comes out without removing tank or cutting anything. Don't have to drain tank if less than half full. Took longer to run to town to get tool for quick release fittings than take pump out. If sitting on the wheels have to jack the frame/body a couple inches to get pump assembly to slip out above the axle. Worth a quick look. Willie
