Here's a few pictures out of one of my books on the IH 8-16 Tractor being made on the IH assembly line. 1. Engines on the assembly line 2. Transmissions being built on the assembly line 3. Engines being installed 4. The 8-16 appears to be the 1st tractor by IH using the assembly line 5.Coming out of the paint booth. Man in back pouring gas in the tank. 6. H.B. Morrow, superintendent of tractor works.
From what I have read there were only 50 IH 8-16's built with a pto.
