Put a GM 3 wire alternator on the Case 800.
Had been working fine for a couple years. Idiot light comes on and once started and running it would go off.
Started it over the weekend after setting all winter (outside unfortunately) and the light would not go off. Wiring looks ok.
What i'm not sure of is when at idle the light is dim and when rev'ed up the light gets brighter. Seems like if the alt isn't working the light would be the same regardless or is it partially working or a bad diode inside alt or ????
