I just picked up a 384 leyland tractor (diesel) yesterday. I bought it from a farmer that drove it in the shed 10 years ago and shut it off. Never had any problems with it. Never touched it and when it was pulled out of the shed, the engine is froze up. I pulled it back and forth in high gear and I think the crank turns back and forth a little. Why do you think it froze? Will it harm the engine if I keep trying back and forth to get it freed up? I would be open to any other ideas also. Thanks
