When Ford went to blue paint on the tractors they changed the model system to thousand series numbering so they eventually had 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9000... As new model deviations came along the series that replaced them became known as the 600/700 series so the model numbers had that added to make 1600, 2600, 7600/7700, etc. As time wore on they became the 10 series and later the 30/40 series. What you have is a 30 series that denotes it being a 3 cylinder chassis tractor. Normally the 4630 would have been the largest in the series... but in this case a 5610's 256 cid engine was fitted into the 3 cylinder chassis so the tractor became the '5030'...
