Before my time, but there is a concrete pedestal in the basement, and you can see the patched hole in the wall where the exhust went out for the electric plant in the basement. Think it was a 48v setup, not sure. Guess there was a row of batteries on the wall, still find the black rods in the grove from the batteries. They made cool chalk for writing on the sidewalk.
REA took care of those setups.
