Great gun. I'm a big 1911 fan and have several.
Here in Houston .45 ammo is easy to find and lots of it. No rationing. It's the high capacity 40sw,.380,9mm and of course .22lr that's no where to be found. What you can find they are price gouging bad. Those that aren't price gouging ration 1 box at a time. .22lr is going for upwards of $.20+ per round on gun broker.
The high capacity hand guns and .22 rifles sell as fast as they get them in. Local store was charging $400. for a synthetic blued Ruger 10 22. They got 6 in and sold out in a couple hours. That is normally a $249. gun.
Several local gun stores that I USED to shop at are price gouging. I will never buy a single thing from them again.
