I use and swear by Mobil1. I will be switching to Amzoil Z max in my gasser tractor when I am sure the engine is fully broken in. I can send a pic of under the valve cover on my 02 Olds with 146k. You would be able to see it was perfectly clean. The gaskets hardened and started to leak so that's why the covers were off. Never had a problem with engine internals since I started using synthetics in 1992. I use regular change intervals but drive em like I stole em. I can't say it's worth the Investment on a throw away car, but on a irreplaceable tractor it is.
