I've had mostly great service from Les Schwab over the years. I realize that the owners of the company(kids and Grandkids) are entitled to spend their money however they like. However, I have heard from people who knew Les well, that he would be rolling over in his grave if he saw how things were going. Hardworking folks in the business are not being treated well, while the heirs of the company live like kings...
I believe that a premium price is reasonable, IF you are getting a superior product, or exemplary service. Schwabs service ain't what it used to be, and they have never offered a terrific tire. To me, paying a %30 premium price is NOT worth the service that schwab gives.
