Left it hang on the blocks, & it rested on the scaffol. Some of the bracing is vertical whole some keeps the elevator from going too & fro. In other words... The Height we had the scaffol ended up being the total height off the floor. We'd just raise the block & tackle while we move the scaffol to the next mounting place. Lowerd it back down to where it just touched.. Reason why we got it so cheap was the barn it came out of was Empty..
