You need to remove the shaft and bearing. It is quite easy. Drain the oil, remove the 3 bolts around the shaft retainer ring and remove the ring. put a PTO shaft off an implement on to your tractor shaft until it locks in place and then using a tyre lever or some other suitable lever just pry against the implement shaft levering against the transmission housing and the shaft will pop out. The seal is inside the bearing retainer and runs on a wider OD section of the shaft. Sam
