I have a customer with a 2500 model. He loves it. Did have to do some major repairs, though. It spun a side bearing and destroyed the housing, turns out that is pretty common on the 2500 models. We had to piece one together with a new housing, we tried used but it was junk too.
They look dumb with a regular axle in them because the bed fenders are flared for the extra width of the quadrasteer rear.
I would not buy a used one. Parts are becoming extinct, especially parts for the steering gear. Parts are very expensive also.
