You picked a good time to go on vacation. Maybe you will get enough warming for rain to soak in. Recent rain here seems to have run off more than necessary. I guessed the ground was still dry and hard underneath, keeping the rain from soaking in but it's more likely it's been so long since we've had a wet spell I've forgotten how things work. Streams flowing nicely though.
