Larry, there are special sunflower fingers for the finger pickup meter on a 7000 planter. However, I have planted sunflowers for food plots with regular corn fingers. While it may not be optimal it will work pretty well. I would think it would work as good as, if not better than using an older plate planter. Plus, your depth control will be much, much better. Mike
