My daughetr-in-law is raising two boys by herself. She has serious medical issues and cannot work, although she used to before she got sick.So now it's food stamps and SSI. She doesn't get enough to meet her needs so we help out as much as we can. Now someone left a friend of her 14 yr old with them till he and his new girlfriend could find a place to live. They haven't heard from them since they left. We went to see them today and my wife gave the boys spending money. The young man was blown away that someone he hardly knows would give him some money. My grandson said he had tears in his eyes.
