Seriously Loren, take it easy and follow your Doctor's advice. I know exactly what your going through, I've had several mini-strokes, my last about 12 years ago. I never had high blood pressure, mine were from arterial plaque. There MAY be some lasting side effects, each case is different; with me it's short-term memory loss and a very occasional slight drool that's usually not noticeable by anyone else.
