sometimes i wonder if lemon cars arnt jinxed on the assembly line, ive seen some of the things myself, one buick had a thumping noise when in a corner, finally found that somebody had tied a coke bottle to the rear seat back support up under the rear deck, it would swing across the seat back support when cornering making a thumping noise, i heard of another new car in with a noise when accelerating or stopping, turned out to be a ball bearing placed in the door shell rolling up and down the bottom of the inside of the door, its possible that some lemons are actually stuff like that done to electrical systems or other components to cause problems while being difficult to diagnose
